What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
Last updated: July 2026
CoreWave Credit ("we", "us") helps people review and dispute information on their consumer credit reports. Doing that work means handling sensitive personal information, and we take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Information we collect
When you contact us
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you.
When you become a client
To provide credit repair services we need to collect and process:
- Identifying information — your full name, date of birth, current and previous addresses, phone number, and email address
- Your Social Security number, which the credit bureaus require in order to locate and act on your credit file
- Copies of identity and address verification documents, which the bureaus require with disputes
- Your consumer credit reports and the information they contain
- Payment information, processed by our payment provider — we do not store your full card number
When you browse this website
Our web host records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and reliability purposes. This site stores one item in your browser's local storage — your light/dark theme preference — which never leaves your device and is not used to identify you.
As currently configured, this site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies.
How we use your information
- To review your credit reports and prepare, submit, and follow up on disputes on your behalf
- To communicate with you about your account and send your monthly progress updates
- To process your monthly payments
- To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not use it to market unrelated products to you.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with data brokers, lead generators, or advertisers. We have never done this and will not start.
Who we share information with
We share your information only where it's necessary to do the work you hired us for, or where the law requires it:
- Consumer reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) and the furnishers of disputed information — because a dispute cannot be filed without it
- Our client management platform, which hosts your secure client portal and case records
- Our payment processor, to collect your monthly fee
- Professional advisers such as our accountant or lawyer, where relevant and under a duty of confidentiality
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally compelled to do so
Service providers who handle your information on our behalf are permitted to use it only for the purpose we engaged them for.
How we protect your information
Your case information is held in an encrypted client portal rather than in email threads or spreadsheets, and access is limited to the people working on your file. This website is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we don't take shortcuts with information this sensitive.
This is also why we ask you not to send your Social Security number, full account numbers, or document scans through our website contact form or by ordinary email. Once you're enrolled, use your client portal for anything sensitive.
How long we keep it
We keep client records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we're required to for legal, tax, and regulatory purposes. Contact-form enquiries that don't become client relationships are deleted once they're no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — ask us what we hold about you, and tell us to fix anything that's wrong
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to records we're legally required to keep
- Withdraw consent — cancel your service at any time, and tell us to stop contacting you
- Opt out of marketing — every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your service
To exercise any of these, contact us. We'll respond within a reasonable time and won't penalise you for asking. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights; if so, they apply and we'll honour them.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting current clients will be communicated directly.
